I need some information about Shkodra%26#39;s castle. It is wonderful

we plan to travel to Albania and I wonder about coming from Montenegro with a rented car. Do you have any info ? Nimrod J.

A lot to visit in Shkodra... The castle is one of the best parts. They have good english speaking tour guides in it. They have a cute little museum. They have the marvellous legend of Rozafa. They have a small traditional restaurant (will charge 1 euro to let you make pictures in it). They have a gorgeous view on the town, the rivers and the lake around. It%26#39;s definitely worth a visit.

And when in Shkodra visit as well the Catholic Cathedral, the Kuvendi i Franceskaneve, the Marubi Museum, the lake, the %26quot;Legjenda%26quot; restaurant.

Coming in Albania with a rented car is a good idea. Do not worry about safety in Albania, more than you would worry in France or Italy. Be careful when driving specially from Shkodra to Tirana - never faster than 100km/h. Albanians are not the best and careful drivers in the world.

Shkodra%26#39;s castle is indeed wonderful. So is the Rozafa castle. You won%26#39;t regret your visit there, as there are many interesting things to see.
