Tirana to Pogradec

Like all over Albania there are no bustations, only squares or corners were the public transport goes from. But anyhaow we manage to talk to the lady at reception in our hotel to talked to a nabouring travel agency. We got a ride on the buss that leaves from Tirana to Athens and we payed a symbolic sum.We got off in Pogradec. the place looked nice, small with many nice looking Mosques and the beautifull Ohrid lake.We had read the there was possible to do some trips on the lake, and to fish as well.We booked our selves in the Hotel Elenka, (a soviet hotel)2500 lek(20€) per room with breakfast, but for some reason the COFFE is not included, that you have to by separate.

We rented a taxi and left for TUSHËMISHTI to eat trout at a local restaurant/hotel.Lovely, you must try it!!

We left the city the day after not because we di not like the city but becasue in fron of our hotel on the waters of the Lake there is a Discco, that´s open all year around and becasue of the heat the doors and windows of the disco are wide open. The music did stopped at around 5am!!!Unfortunally Pogradec is very small and the noise is notisable from everywere.

But I would like to go back to Pogradec again, but this time I will probably stay in Tushemishti,5 km further from Pogradec.
