Athens to Tirana via Korce

I am planning to travel from Athens to Tirana via Korce by bus next year. I would like to visit Progri on the way. I cannot find a map which shows P{rogri. Can anyone tell me where it is in relation to Korce and if there are any hotels in Progri? My father came from Progri to Australia in 1939 so I would like to visit his hometown. How long is the trip from Progro to Tirana and what is the most convenient way to make the trip?

Hi,

Progri is about 20 minutes away from Korce, so I would definitely suggest that you stay at a hotel in Korce and then take a taxi/car to Progri.

my name is mirdash and I am living in Canada for 4 years.I am from Korca Albania. Progri is located about 20 km away from Korca. I don%26#39;t think there is a hotel in progri , the only place you cn find hotels is Korca. My wife%26#39;s grandfather was born in progri(progeri)and also I had some relatives that used to live there, Hopefully you will enjoy your trip.

Just a quick check on mapquest.com and I can see Prog������r fine. Just need to zoom in enough. It is near Pilur, Bick������ etc. Can you find it now? Finding a hotel in Kor������������ is probably the best thing to do. Once you%26#39;re there you can probably take a taxi to your destination. Things are relatively cheap there, especially when compared to western countries. It would help if you knew someone there beforehand to guide you around. Nevertheless, it is doable even if you don%26#39;t have any acquaintances/relatives.
