Tirana to Skopje

Hi, looking for transport options to travel into Skopje for 1 day for a football match in September. Ideally looking for a minibus with driver that will take us into Skopje, wait for us for a few hours then back to Tirana at night.

Is this something anyone else has done or can anyone point me in the direction of public transport links.

The daily bus is 15 euros. Leaves at 9AM from the train station bus yard (there are no bus stations in Tirana, just collection points) and arrives in Tetovo about 4. Then you get the hourly local bus to Skopje main station. You%26#39;ll get to Skopje about 6. Long day. Other alternative is what you suggested, rent a taxi from Tirana. Probably will take only about 6 hours but will be expensive. Skopje has a youth hostel near the main bus/train station (5 minute walk) so you probably would be better off spending the night. I don%26#39;t even know if the border crossing at Qafe Stafa is open late at night.

The best information I%26#39;ve see for transport info in Albania is the Youth Hostel over on Elbansan Road. They can tell you everything you need to know.

I can offer the transport with a very comfortable Minivan from Tirana (or any other point in Albania) to Skopje. Either rent you a car for a couple of days! Good afternoon,

I am asking about the new schedules or possible changes about the buses travelling from tirana to skopje or even nis/belgrade in serbia.

I am planning a balkan tour and my time of travel might be in mid june/ mid july.

Do you have new information about the fares, border crossings and other important rules ?
