I will be travelling to Tirana in October to stay with Albanian friends.
I am a single parent with an 8 year old daughter. I have been told that I may need more than just our passports to prove that she is my daughter particularly when leaving Tirana. Is this correct?
Do I need to take birth certificates ?

Hi Rhia, I am an Albanian citizen that lives in Tirana city the capital of the country. I just want to let you known, that you should have with you not only your daughter passport but even a birth certificate that proves that she is your dotter. If you and your dotter keeps the same surname, I think shouldn’t be any problem, but in case that you both have different surnames, the custom official maybe will ask you for certain documents to prove that you are her mother. If you have any question fee free to ask me
Regards
