Tirana to Thessaloniki to Instanbul

What is the best transportation to get to Instanbul from Tirana, with a 2 days stop in Thessaloniki?

Hi,

I am planning to do almost the same trip between 25th and 29th April 2008 with a friend.

I live in Tirana, and our trip will roughly be this:

- 25th: Tirana-Ohrid lake

- 26th Orhid lake-Thessaloniki

- 27th-thessaloniki- Troy ruins

- 28th-29 Tory ruins Istanbul

Then we will stay in Istanbul until the 4th may, and we will fly back to Tirana.

If you have any suggestions or info about this trip, please share them with me - it will be really helpful!! I have difficulties especially in finding out infos on:

- how to go from Orhid to Thessaloniki

- when is the bus from Thessaloniki - Kesan/Istanbul

We will get a bus from Tirana to Thessaloniki, then get into the Dostluk Filia night train to Instanbul.

The return trip will be the same.
