I haven%26#39;t made the trip yet, but i will be travelling in the general direction in july.
We kick off in the greek islands and are heading onto Bitola, Macedonia to visit my girlfriends family.
To do get there we are catching a train from athens to thessaloniki, change trains and go to florina just south of the border. From there we are catching a taxi to bitola (girlfriends family arranging this, but shouldn%26#39;t be hard to arrange). After some time in bitola we head west to tirana via ohrid. There are only buses along this route - but you could try a cab for part of it- apparently they are very cheap.
From tirana there are buses the rest of the way. through montenegro and onto dubrovnik.all of the bus timetables aren%26#39;t exactly set in stone, but there are several each day.
that%26#39;s our plan, havent done it yet so can%26#39;t comment on the success. will let you know in august.
