Early flight from Rinas Airport

We have to catch a 6:30am flight from Tirana to Munich, and are concerned about getting to the airport from the hotels in Tirana. Does anyone have a recommendation for either:

1. A hotel in Tirana that can provide/arrange reliable transportation to Rinas Airport that early in the morning

OR

2. A hotel near the airport itself

There is no problem at all getting to the airport early. You can arrange with your hotel front desk to have a cab ready whenever you want to leave. Everyone is used to the early departures and arrivals.

There are no good hotels near the airport. Stay in Tirana and enjoy the city.

I just took the same time plane to Munich and no problem whatsoever. at 5 am there is no traffic so you can be in airport in 20 min. Normally at Rinas is not so busy so if you are there 1 hour before your flight is more than sufficent.

There is a large, modern public bus that leaves from near the left side of the National Historical Museum in Tirana. It costs about 300 lek. There is an air-conditioned hotel,Verzaci, within 10 minutes%26#39; walking distance of the airport. I dragged my 50 lb suitcase so it%26#39;s do-able. It%26#39;s in the medium price range.

I agree, just ask the hotel to arrange a taxi for you to be waiting at the time you need. At that time of the day, a taxi from the Tirana centre to the airport will take around 20-30 minutes.

Unfortunately the Rinas Express bus, that goes from Skenderbeg Square to the Airport, currently only runs 7am to 7pm. So the taxi is your option :)
